With massages, it helps utilizes manual manipulation to improve the body’s circulation, relaxes the muscles, improves the range of motion, and can also increase endorphin levels. Neuromuscular therapy, for example, is one of the most effective treatments for lower back pain. It consists of alternating different levels of pressure that are being applied to the muscles to alleviate the muscle spasm. An important note for anyone that is finishing getting a massage is to drink plenty of water. During the massaging procedure, the tissues in the body will be stimulated and releasing the toxins out of the body. By drinking at least 10 glasses of water throughout the day will flush those toxins out. A person should aim to at least drink 2-3 glasses of water within the first hour or so then about 8 more within the next 24 hours. After the person is done with their massage after the hour, they should drink several glasses of water then continue to replenish the body with 8 more glasses of water in the next 23 hours.
