For many people, a car accident is an unexpected unfortunate event. Car accidents can cause injuries that are felt instantly or in some cases, a few days later. Car accidents cause inflammation, stiffness, tightness, and other injuries. In the experiences of Terry Peoples and Araceli Norte, they speak about how their car accidents really hindered their life. They were not able to perform their daily duties or enjoy the activities they used to. For most people, car accidents are difficult because they often need to rely on other people for help. In the case of Terry Peoples, she is very independent so that was hard for her. She originally had gotten care from a different chiropractor but her friends and lawyer referred her to Dr. Alexander Jimenez. After starting treatment with Dr. Jimenez, her symptoms started to improve and she decided she did not need to see another chiropractor. Her treatments have made her feel tremendous and even though when she comes in at first she feels a little sore from the accident still when she leaves it is like she is all better. Araceli Norte was in a car accident as well and states how her accident changed her quality of life. She was working as a physical therapy technician and after the accident, she had to retire. One of her favorite things about Dr. Alexander Jimenez is how he educates his patients and continuously talks and lets the patients know what he is doing and why. For some, a chiropractor can be a very scary appointment but Dr. Jimenez talks the patients through the entire time to ease their fears. Back pain is very common after an accident, but Dr. Jimenez knows how to treat it and what to do to ensure you are able to get your life back on track. -Kenna Vaughn, Senior Health Coach
[00:00:09] My name is Terry Peoples. Araceli Norte
[00:00:13] I am a cosmetic beauty advisor.
[00:00:17] Well, I’m retired. I used to teach physical therapy at the technician level and then I had an accident that I had to retire.
[00:00:26] I get into a car accident and I was rear ended on Valentine’s Day and things start going.
[00:00:34] It wasn’t quite right and my body aches and pains start coming. It slowed me down. I’m a very active person. I like to go a lot and do a lot of things and very independent. So now I have to rely on other people, well, I was relying on other people. And I have to, you know, be a little more careful on how I do certain things.
[00:00:59] And it’s affected the quality of life, my everyday activities.
[00:01:06] And so after I visit another chiropractor, I talk to this other person. My lawyer said that he was a very good chiropractor and that he cared about his patients. And so they told me about this place and I came and then I said okay, I’m not going back to that other place. And I’m so grateful it’s going very, very well. I do feel a lot of relief. And what I like about it here is that he genuinely cares about his patients and he educates you and is constantly talking to what he’s doing.
[00:01:42] Oh, tremendous. I come and I am a little broken a  little sore, but by the time I leave its like yay, I am all better. Yes.Â
