The body also eliminates toxins through the kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymphatic system, and skin. However, when these systems are compromised and the impurities aren’t properly filtered out then the body’s health becomes dysfunctional causing harm. Everyone should detox at least once a year; however, detoxing for nursing mothers, children, and patients with chronic degenerative diseases should consult their doctor before starting a detoxing program. By consulting with a healthcare provider if anyone has questions about detoxing is highly important. But in today’s world, there are more toxins in the environment than ever.
