A herniated disc can cause a lot of pain to patients. Most often patients who suffer with herniated discs have problems walking, bending, or lifting heavy objects. This type of pain can be debilitating and leave you to count on others to help you accomplish your daily tasks. Just as Aracely Pisana said, she was suffering from back pain and herniated discs for years. In order to keep living with pain, she had to bring her children with her to the grocery store to help her lift items off the shelf because her pain was so bad. A friend of Aracely Pisana had referred her to Dr. Alexander Jimenez in hopes to relieve her of her pain. One reason patients keep coming back to Dr. Alexander Jimenez is not only due to the relief they feel after sessions but because of the care he has and shows for his patients. Aracely Pisana has been coming to Dr. Jimenez office for a while now and she can now go grocery shopping alone because she is able to lift things that are a little heavier and her pain is significantly reduced. For someone who comes in with a herniated disc, X-Rays are usually ordered to ensure that is what is going on. From here, these patients undergo treatments that include hot or cold packs, traction or electrical stimulation, deep tissue massage to promote blood flow and healing to the area and manual adjustments by Dr. Jimenez himself. These components combined together have been proven to be effective in pain relief and decompression. Patient care is on the top of Dr. Jimenez priorities and he ensures that each patient leave feeling properly cared for, treated, and educated when they see him. -Kenna Vaughn, Senior Health Coach
My name is Aracely Pisana. I am Forty two years old, I’ve suffered from back pain for quite a few years and I’ve been seeking help from Dr. Jimenez now for about four years. I had a great friend of mine refer me to him. I had already seeked out other chiropractic health before and nothing had really worked until I started seeing doctor Jimenez, and the way he cares about his patients, That is what keeps me going back. He does a great job and he really cares about the patient. Herniated discs may have been already for maybe like two years prior to that. I want to see him. It has affected me for quite a while. I used to not be able sometimes to get out of bed. Now I can say that I can lift things that are a little bit more heavy. I used to always have to have my kids go to store with because I couldn’t lift anything more than five pounds. Now I can do a lot of things on my own. Oh yes, to everybody, anybody that needs any type of pain relief. He is the best!
