Custom Foot Orthotics are custom made and fit to your body. These orthotics are created by first having a scan conducted first. This scan will then provide your practitioner with an outline that shows the exact places you are putting pressure on your foot. The main reason this is important is because it will show the connection between the feet and the rest of the body. If there is pressure in the feet in areas where it should not be, this can cause the ankle to be pronated. This means that the ankle is sitting slightly inwards. However, this issue then causes the Q-Angle to be off. This means that the knee and foot are no longer in line. Due to this, added pressure is put on the knee. The knee is whats known as a hinge joint, meaning it is made to facilitate in walking and move back and forth, not support added weight. In order to take the pressure off the knee, the iliac crest or hip is dropping to relieve the knee. However, the human body is extremely smart and with all of this occurring, the opposite shoulder will drop. This is the bodies attempt to keep some form of alignment. With all of this occurring throughout the body, lower back pain and upper neck stiffness, as well as shoulder discomfort, can be seen. The body is made to move and work in a specific manner, and the shoes we wear can throw this off by causing our arches to collapse. The arch in our foot is not just one, but rather a combination of three. The medial arch, lateral arch, and anterior transverse arch is what makes up the arch we have. These orthotics will support each one of these arches separately in order to provide them with the proper support they need. Dr. Alexander Jimenez has the ability and the technology to scan each patients feet and properly assess them for these custom made orthotics. -Kenna Vaughn, Senior Health Coach

Custom Orthotics will help the imbalance your feet feel as well as provided the needed support to diminish pain in the ankles, knees, hips, and back.

When a foot pronates excessively, the foot flattens and the toes turn outward more than normal. The kneecap rotates inward and the pelvis and shoulders shift to compensate for the excessive pronation, causing unnecessary postural stress. Spinal pelvic stabilizers help to provide a balanced, symmetrical foundation by preventing excessive pronation, feet no longer flare excessively. The knees, pelvis and shoulders then return to their normal positions, helping provide proper postural alignment.

Foot- levelers orthotics are custom-made to improve posture and hold body wellness by correcting the feet which can flare out or in over time, creating structural imbalances throughout the body. These imbalances create stress in the neck, back, hip, knee and ankle areas, which leads to increased amounts of pain in those areas over time. Each pair of foot levelers customer orthotics is crafted based on precise scans from our 3D scanner, the 3D body view and outfitted with corrections that line up perfectly with each of the three arches in your feet. Return them to their natural form. When your feet are in a natural state, your spine and feet will naturally straighten and flare less. Your hips and shoulders will level out, and the stress that was caused by these imbalances will be gone, helping to reduce pain throughout your body.

Millions of Americans suffer from chronic pain throughout their body, caused by imbalances and instabilities in their feet. But today, individually designed stabilizing orthotics are helping people live active pain free lives. Stabilizing orthotics are designed for your body based on a scan of your feet. Unlike the one size fits all orthotics that don’t address your specific needs, your stabilizing orthotics can provide more stability and support.

The difference in these orthotics compared to over the counter is supporting the three arch structure called the plantar vault. This structure provides momentum for movement. Your arches from its springy flexibility to accommodate changes in terrain.
