Foot Levelers Orthotics are custom orthotics that slide into your shoes. These orthotics are custom 3-D printed to each foot! Just like every snowflake is different, every foot is different as well. Many people have some kind of foot pain and rely on over the counter foot orthotics. These orthotics are generally made as a one size fits all. But research has discovered that is not the case with feet. The arch is actually comprised of three smaller arches that all need separate attention. These arches are the medial arch, lateral arch, and the anterior transverse arch. With custom support in each of these arches, individuals will gain optimal function. In addition to this, when the foot has the actual support it needs you will notice that smaller aches and pains will diminish. If there is not proper support in the arches, the first thing we see as a result is a pronated ankle. This simply means the ankle is slightly rolled inwards. This then causes the alignment to be off and puts added pressure on the knee. The knee joint is a hinge joint, so it really does not want that added pressure. To counteract this, the iliac crest ( which is the hip ) is then dropping to try and take some of that added pressure off. Finally, we usually see a drop in the opposite shoulder as an attempt to keep the body even and straight. With all of these small ailments occurring, low back pain, upper neck stiffness, and shoulder discomfort is often associated all from the foot not having the correct pressure. It is amazing to see the changes in people’s posture, strides, and overall pain level once they have custom orthotics fitted to them. Dr. Alexander Jimenez has the technology and the ability to scan his patient’s feet and recommended these amazing orthotics. -Kenna Vaughn, Senior Health Coach
[00:00:10] Hi, everyone. I’ve got some great news to share with you today. What we’ve known for sixty five years has just been published in a very noted journal, the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. And what the study basically says is, is that foot levelers help eliminate the problem of low back pain. You know after millions of patients, hundreds of thousands of doctors. We’ve known that forever. But now it’s official. Here’s what they did. They had three groups of people. Two hundred twenty five people, a lot of folks. The first group, they did nothing, didn’t do one thing to the patient and their back pains still there. The second group just got footlevelers. And the third group got foot levelers and chiropractic. They came back after a period of time and looked at them. And here’s what they found. The Foot Levelers group reduce their pain by about thirty-five percent. The foot leveler and chiropractic went up higher naturally to about fourty and a half percent. This study proved that we knew a long time ago that foot levelers and chiropractic are a winning combination. And by the way, not only did the back pain go down, but the function went up. So we reduced the back pain, but we also made them more functional and had a better lifestyle. All of this we’re going to make available to you so you can read it in depth. I just want to share with it right away because it’s very exciting. So once again, thanks for letting us be a part of your practice. We appreciate you.
