In the following video testimonial, Truide Torres and Edgar M. Reyes discuss how Dr. Alex Jimenez and chiropractic care ultimately helped improve their sciatica or sciatic nerve pain. Sciatica is a collection of symptoms instead of a single injury or underlying condition. Also known as sciatic nerve pain, this cluster of signs is commonly caused by the compression or impingement of the sciatic nerve due to a variety of health issues. The sciatic nerve is the longest and largest nerve in the human body. It travels from the lower back down the buttocks and hips into the legs, knees, and feet. The well-known symptoms of sciatica can include pain and discomfort, tingling and burning sensations, as well as numbness. Sciatica can be commonly caused by a bulging or a herniated disc and DDD or degenerative disc disease, among other well-known health issues. Dr. Alex Jimenez, a chiropractor in El Paso, TX, utilizes spinal adjustments and manual manipulations to safely and effectively treat neck pain, back pain, low back pain, and sciatica or sciatic nerve pain, among others. – Podcast Insight
[00:00:21] Edgar M. Reyes. Mi nombre es Truide Torres.
[00:00:26] I work for the city of El Paso.
[00:00:33] I have really bad sciatica. And it was killing me.
[00:00:37] I couldn’t walk.
[00:01:03] I couldn’t even walk, like I said. I couldn’t walk more than 20, 25 yards. It was really affecting me.
[00:01:08] I had to get some help.
[00:01:18] One of my wife’s friends recommended him. Over and over. How good he was. So I gave him a shot.
Man, I can’t say enough about Dr. Jimenez. Man, he’s been helping me out. I can walk.
