Car accidents are an unfortunate event that can strike at any time. Often times, with car accidents an injury occurs. These injuries can be felt instantly or they can come on a few days later and linger for months if the proper action is not taken. In this situation, Dennsie was in a car accident and had lingering shoulder pain and upper body discomfort. This made it hard for her to sit for longer periods of time and do her job. On top of this, the constant pain started to impact her daily life and activities she loved. She used to work out but she slowly started decreasing her time at the gym until eventually, she wasn’t going at all. Dennise came across Dr. Jimenez online and clicked on his link to find the clinic. She got an appointment and came in to start treatment. At first, she felt relief but she also had some soreness. This is completely normal for patients to feel after their first visit. Part of the treatment is a medical massage given by a licensed massage therapist. This is used to promote blood flow to the area, increasing healing, and loosen up the muscles and joints so that Dr. Jimenez is able to adjust the patient better. After appointments, it is also very important to drink plenty of water so the toxins flush out of the body better. After seeing Dr. Jimenez, Dennise was able to get back into working out and sit for longer periods of time at work. Not only does Dr. Jimenez relieve patients of pain, but he also offers them hope. He explains everything he is doing throughout the treatment and why it is important for healing. Dr. Jimenez creates trust within his patients and provides all avenues of healing for them. -Kenna Vaughn, Senior Health Coach
My name is Dennise. About two years ago I was involved in a car accident. A few months later my upper body started hurting. I had more shoulder pain at which they started noticing I couldn’t sit for long periods of time, I couldn’t sleep, I was restless and I just started looking more into it and started reading about doctor Jimenez and what he does, and decided to make myself an appointment. I was online, off of social media. Facebook is where I found Dr. Jimenez. And I just clicked on his link and I started reading about him. Because of the initial pain, I noticed I can’t go back to doing CrossFit, I’ve gained a lot of weight only because, you know, I stopped doing the gym and I started eating unhealthy. Now I’m trying to get myself back into being where I was prior to my incident. My first visit automatically, I felt better, but along came with soreness. I did continue treatment. I saw him maybe two, three times out of a week. And shortly after that, I started noticing change. I wasn’t waking up in the middle of night with pain. They did mention to me to drink plenty of water release any toxins at which I did so.
He also mentioned for me to start, you know, going back to the gym, which would help me out with as far as momentum and getting back to where I was prior to my incident.
Once I started treatment with Dr. Jimenez I started noticing I was able to go back to the gym. I was able to sit back for longer periods of time and ever since I’ve been a lot better. I started training with Mike over at Push CrossFit. He was doing a lot of one on one and individual training with me. That was an hour session and I felt wonderful. Just coming to see him released a lot of my stress, I felt stronger. I felt positive about this treatment. And as far as recommending Dr. Jimenez I would recommend him because he helped me with everything I went through. Not only physically but emotionally. I would highly recommend Dr. Jimenez. Because of him I no longer have shoulder pain.
