Custom orthotics can benefit everyone. However, we were seeing a gap. Athletes are very tough and extreme on their bodies, but yet they were the ones who were not utilizing custom orthotics. We found that for many athletic sports, the shoes that need to be worn are tight-fitting and slim. This is where the problem occurred. The custom orthotics were great for everyday shoes, but they did not seem to fit right in most athletic shoes. With that being said, they created an orthotic specifically with athletes in mind. The orthotic they came out with is called the XP3. This orthotic is great because it still provides the custom arches to maximize the athlete’s performance while being made of a thin and flexible material ensured to fit the shoe and not hinder the athlete in any of their abilities. The custom orthotics help to stabilize the joints and provide more support. Many over the counter orthotics provide one generalized arch. However, research has found that the arch in the foot is comprised of more than just that and requires more support. The arches in custom orthotics support the three arch structure the foot naturally has called the plantar arch. This means that you will be getting protection on the medial, lateral, and anterior transverse arch. The flexibility and support these arches provide will help alleviate the pain many athletes feel in their ankles, knees, hip, and back. Dr. Alexander Jimenez has the technology to scan an athlete’s foot and recommended these orthotics. With these orthotics being custom 3-D printed to each foot, the athlete is sure to see the optimal benefits. There is no reason to put unnecessary stress and strain on the joints any longer! Especially for athletes, the movement, comfort, and support these orthotics bring is unmatched. – Kenna Vaughn, Senior Health Coach
[00:00:32] Hi, I’m Dr. Kurt Jurgen’s from Houston, Texas. Been using a levelers orthotics for several years and I’m really excited about the new XP 3 that have recently come out with it is really filled a wonderful niche in the sports community. A lot of athletes wear tighter fitting shoes and in order to wear a custom orthotic, it requires a specific orthotic that will fit in those shoes. It is the XP 3 that does exactly that. So now the athlete can wear a custom, true custom orthotic that gives them all the adequate support that they need to enhance their performance and improve their stability. With that being said, I completely endorse the new XP 3 orthotic from foot- levelers.
[00:01:19] Millions of Americans suffer from chronic pain throughout their body caused by imbalances and instabilities in their feet. But today, individually designed stabilizing orthotics are helping people live active pain free lives. Stabilizing orthotics are designed for your body based on a scan of your feet. Unlike the one size fits all orthotics that don’t address your specific needs, your stabilizing orthotics can provide more stability and support.
[00:01:45] The difference in these orthotics compared to over the counter is supporting the three arch structure called the plantar vault. This structure provides momentum for movement. Your arches permit springy flexibility to accommodate changes in terrain. If one arch in your foot is compromised or you have flat feet.
[00:02:05] Flexibility will diminish and can lead to considerable pain in your ankles, knees, hips and back.
[00:02:13] Stabilizing orthotics give you the stable foundation. you need to help reduce unnecessary stress and strain on your joints. Your plantar vault also provides strength to support the weight of your entire body.
[00:02:26] Once your feet are properly supported, a leveling effect will occur to your ankles, knees and hips.
