Gloria has dealt with foot pain due to plantar fasciitis due to walking regularly every day around her place. Plantar Fasciitis is very common and more than 3 million individuals, including Gloria, have experienced this symptom. This symptom is one of the most common causes of heel pain and it involves an inflamed plantar fascia on the heel that is connected from the heel bone all the way to the toe joints. Some of the symptoms include stabbing pain near the heel and the pain might be worst in the morning. Gloria explains how the pain would start from her feet and her energy level would begin to drop and she would be tired during the day. She explains how Dr. Jimenez suggested using custom foot orthotics, changed her life and has helped relieve the symptoms that plantar fasciitis has caused on her feet. She mentions how by using custom orthotics felt like a cushion for her feet and felt so comfortable to wear that it brought back her energy levels. By using custom orthotics, it can help the individual relieve the foot pain that they may have and possibly even correct how they may even walk. Custom orthotics are customed made for the individual and can last for about 7 years until they need to be replaced. Gloria can now walk even better since using custom orthotics and her plantar fasciitis symptoms have lessened as well as. Custom foot orthotics can change a person’s life and relieve painful foot symptoms that have caused a person’s body to dysfunction. With custom foot orthotics, they can even correct how a person is walking by gradually shifting their foot position whether the foot is rolled out or in and correcting their position to be straightened out causing the body to aligned correctly and function properly.
[00:00:14] My name is Gloria. I’m a patient of Dr. Jimenez.
[00:00:18] I originally came here with a lot of pain, a lot of stiffness on my feet, my legs, my hips, and my shoulders.
[00:00:28] I have a three-quarter acre. I live alone. So that’s a lot of walking. I cut most of my grass.
[00:00:36] I have five rabbits. I have birds. I have three dogs. I have a fish pond. My pain gradually started with plantar fasciitis. I would walk every day, at least an hour, an hour and a half every day. And it started getting worse and worse.
[00:00:58] The last maybe three, four years, my feet gradually started feeling like they were crunching up. I did not feel the bottom of my feet on the floor. And with that saying, I started feeling pain on my feet. My energy level was low. I would get tired. I would have to take a break.
[00:01:19] And the orthotics from the first day that I saw in the advertisements, made a lot of sense to me because the other ones that I had are generic and they’re made for everybody. That made me realize these are made for everybody, they’re not really helping me any. I realized that’s what I needed.
[00:01:38] Something was to be made exactly to my feet because I had already realized the bottom of my foot.
[00:01:46] The arch was already not where it should have been.
[00:01:51] They said we can get you on that machine. Take your picture, whatever it is.
[00:01:57] From there it was. I had them on about maybe eight to 10 days later and oh my gosh when I got them, my feet went from this to that. For the first time, I felt my whole foot was on the ground in supporting or the more I wore it every day, it got better, better.
[00:02:16] And now, I mean, I still can’t get over it.
[00:02:21] I don’t know I have feet. It’s so comfortable, especially the bottom. It feels like I’m walking on cushions. The whole foot, the whole foot I don’t stop. I mean, I go home till I drop. This has really put me back.
[00:02:36] I would say pretty much the way I used to be able to do things about maybe five, six years back. That’s where it is written.
