Like many younger individuals, April Hermosillo was an athlete who still suffers from some residual pain. The sports that April Hermosillo participated in like volleyball and gymnastics are rigorous on the body. These sports can cause tension in the neck, shoulders, and back. April Hermosillo still enjoys working out, exercising, eating healthy, and using the muscles and strength she gained from years of being an athlete. However, she notices now that the neck and back tension she has can really hold her back. Her tension is so tight that it can get to the point where her feet start to cramp due to the fact that her spine is not properly aligned. Tension in the back and neck can cause the muscles around the spine to tighten and sometimes cause spasms. April Hermosillo has no desire to stop being active anytime soon, so when this tension strikes, she sees Dr. Alexander Jimenez. Dr. Alexander Jimenez has helped April Hermosillo by relieving the tension she feels so she is still able to continue to hike and do the active recreational activities she loves. For April, her pain started around the age of 14. As mentioned earlier, many athletes experience pain or discomfort in their backs or neck when they are constantly training and growing at the same time. Luckily, April keeps great control of her health and cares for her body. By getting regular chiropractic adjustments, April is keeping her body healthy and preventing any future injuries that could occur if she was participating in activities with too much tension. Too much tension does not allow the body to move as freely as needed and can make an individual more susceptible to injury. Dr. Alexander Jimenez is very familiar with athletes and how to adjust them to keep their body performing for optimal results! -Kenna Vaughn, Senior Health Coach
April Hermosillo, a little bit about myself. I am a work in progress.
I love to work out, be fit, hike and eat lots of healthy food. I’ve experienced my pain since I was about 14. I’ve had back tension and neck problems due to being an athlete. Playing volleyball, gymnastics. I have a lot of neck and lower back pain that causes a lot of feet cramps, so being able to have Mr. Jimenez around has really helped me. My pain injury has affected me.
I try not to let it affect me. But, you know, while driving and just standing too long, I do get a lot of cramps in my feet and my neck.
It makes me tired and not like I have, like, do anything. It does hurt. It gives me like feet cramps and all of that. But once I come and get aligned just like that for my treatment with Mr. Jimenez is has tremendously helped me. It gives me just a sense of relief, knowing that I can come and see him release all the attention. It just brings me back to life. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Jimenez to everyone. Thank you for always having my back.
