Back pain can strike anyone at any time. It can be brought on an accident, a misuse, or just overuse in general. One thing we all know about back pain is when it is frequent and constant, it starts to affect a persons quality of life. When this happens, it not only affects the individual themselves but their work life and their family. Louie Martinez is a business owner in El Paso, Texas who works with schools. His job requires that he walks around and something as simple as walking or standing can bring on immense pain to those suffering with back pain. At a certain point, Louie Martinez was unable to get out of his vehicle without pain and complete his job. David Garcia is another individual who has had back pain that affected him and his work. David Garcia works as a maintenance man so he is used to using his back to repair doors and bending down to fix the grounds. At a point when he was suffering from back pain, he was unable to do the simple tasks he needed to. These included tying his shoes, sitting up, standing for long periods of time, or walking without needing to take a break. Both of these individuals came to see Dr. Jimenez in hopes he would relieve their back pain. Dr. Jimenez did more than help to relieve their back pain, but he also gave them hope. Hope that they would be able to go back to work without feeling pain and they would be able to put their shoes on without thinking twice about it. These individuals recommend Dr. Jimenez not only for his ability to reduce their pain but his great bedside manner. Dr. Jimenez builds a relationship with every patient and takes the time to explain everything that is going on with their treatment and their body so they never leave confused or unsure. Dr. Jimenez puts patients first. -Kenna Vaughn, Senior Health Coach
[00:00:08] My name’s Louie Martinez. My name is David Garcia. I’m 56 years old.
[00:00:15] I’m a business owner. I work with schools in the El Paso area and we do fundraising. I work for Region 19.
[00:00:21] I work as a maitence or facility person there. I do grounds, I do repairing door. The pain in my lower back has affected me a lot. Everywhere, like the basic things like putting on my shorts, my pants, tying up my shoes, getting into the car, I go walking and sometimes I have to stop when I walk a long distance. Even when I’m sitting down, too. It gets painful.
[00:00:51] Initially it affected me by getting around. You can’t move as quickly. When you can’t get out of a vehicle it’s tough, but just with the work from Dr. Jimenez I have mobility again.
[00:01:01] Dr. Jimenez has helped me a lot. I think it’s helped me tremendously.
[00:01:07] Where I could’nt bend at times, now,I can easily bend down and stretch my back is able to loosen up and start to walk better. And the pain has gone.
[00:01:22] It’s helped my pain because it’s allowed me to gain my mobility back and my range of motion. It’s allowed me to do just basic things that we take for granted, standing up, sitting down, which I wasn’t able to do before Dr. Jimenez but I’m able to do it now easily.
[00:01:35] I recommend Dr. Jimenez. He’s a great doctor. He communicates very well with the patients and he tries to help you wherever you needed it. In every way. And I do recommend him. Well, I like to say about the staff, they do good things that they do great job and explaining to you what the process and what you’re going to go through. And it’s helped a lot. It’s made it easy.
[00:02:07] I would highly recommend Dr. Jimenez, there’s not a better doctor in any profession because Dr. Jimenez is just very thorough and has a great bedside manner.
