Chiropractic care can even be used as a non-surgical choice for knee injuries, and sports-related injuries that athletes can benefit from. No one should be in pain from sports-related injuries especially if they can’t recover from it. [00:00:07] My name’s Alex Jimenez, I’m 21 years old. I’ve wrestled for 15 years, I don’t wrestle anymore. Just kind of just do health and fitness.
[00:00:14] I’m Vincent Garcia. Right now I’m training in mixed martial arts. Today it was for my knee. I kind of tweaked it a little bit yesterday. And also I’ve been coming from my toe, I have a little bit of turf toe. So I’ve been coming in to see him for those injuries.
[00:00:27] So one of my main injuries was an ACL injury. In the moment that it happened, it was kind of weird. It was kind of more of like the sound of pop really just shot, like really loud.
[00:00:36] The injuries, I mean, they stop me from being able to do, I’ve been able to perform at 100 percent. So yeah, it kinda slowed me down a bit.
[00:00:46] Exterior test kind of make sure that the leg was stabled. And when it was stabled, it didn’t look like it had an ACL tear until we did the MRI, which showed a complete ACL tear. Dr. Jimenez went through everything, he made sure that he took care of my knee. Make sure we went through the mobility every day. Ask me what I was doing, making sure he took care of everything and just made sure that I was on point with my recovery.
[00:01:07] It’s been great. It’s been a lot better. Actually, I didn’t see a doctor for about, I would say four months when I had my toe. And it was just getting worse and when I started seeing Dr. Jimenez, just little by little every day, we were trying to get better and better and I feel it was a lot better when I practice and stuff like that. So It’s getting better.
[00:01:25] It really was a moment of just I can all of a sudden spring. It was always just baby steps that time and kind of just not only securing myself physically but mentally, knowing that I could do it.
[00:01:36] One hundred percent, he’s like I said, he’s helping me out with a lot of injuries. He’s got me through a couple football seasons, a couple of wrestling seasons. Yeah. He really he’ll be doing. He gets you feeling right.
